Church Move

Good morning Breakthrough Church! As you all know, our lease has expired at the current location. We know that God has much in store for us and we want to be prepared in every way including financially for our next step. Instead of continuing to pay the large lease payments each month, we will be moving to our new building by the end of this month, February. Our new church home is located on the property adjacent to Pastor Jason & Andrea's new home.

To prepare for this big move we need your help with the following:

  1. We need someone to volunteer to take on the upright piano and big TV currently stored at the church. If you can get it on Craig's list, the Freebies, etc. We would like to be paid for them, but at this point, we need them out. This process can start right away.
  2. We will need help packing up and moving things out & into the new building.
  3. After everything is moved out, we will need much help cleaning the current space to ensure our security deposit.
  4. Work nights at the church will be planned soon. Please be ready to help out as much as you can.

The list may get longer as we approach our move date. As you can see much is on the horizon. As part of the church family, we need you to help get this accomplished. It will take all of us. Thank you for your prayers as we move further into the will and heart of God for Breakthrough Church.

Accountability Group Kickoff Breakfast

Good morning Breakthrough Church,

Liz and I will be hosting a breakfast kickoff meeting for the Life Transformation Groups (LTG) or accountability groups this coming Saturday at our house at 8920 Duran Street. This is a late breakfast but not quite a brunch so we will definitely start at 10:00am J We will provide the food of various types. If anyone has any food allergies they can give me a call and I would be more than happy to accommodate their diet. This should be a much more relaxed environment for me so I should be able to go over the basic format of a group and relay some suggestions and other information without being nervous in front of a crowd with a microphone. I will have signup sheets available at the breakfast and they will be available at the church from now on as well. I would like people to RSVP even if they are wanting to come but not sure they can. This way I can get an idea of how much food to make. Not attending most certainly does not exclude a person from taking part. I would be happy to speak with any one any time. Please remember that these groups are segregated by gender. That just means men and women meet in separate groups. So far one women has expressed interest and that’s half a group already. It only takes two to start a group. Since the kick off breakfast is not a group meeting it will be a coed event J

Thanks,

Prayer Requests

Hello everyone,

We have some ongoing things as well as some situations that were mentioned yesterday that need some prayer. Since we're a praying church who believes God is big enough to accomplish what He promises, we pray in faith!

  • Sean asked yesterday if we would pray for a woman named Rosie Sabo who is having surgery on February 10. We pray that God's presence and peace surrounds her and her family, that the doctors performing this surgery will have divine wisdom.  Let everything go smoothly and we release healing power now in Jesus' name.
  • Keep praying for Pastor Daymond and Jenny. His recovery from back surgery is going well, and he goes back tomorrow to see the VA doctor.  There have been some scary moments and hours, but we continue to believe God is imparting strength and showing off His victory through this whole situation and in their lives.
  • There is a woman that Andrew works with who is on a dangerous mission trip in Senegal right now involving schools.  Something happened right before she left and her funds to cover this were wiped out. Just so you know, we gave as a church yesterday to support this. Please pray for her protection and that everything God has for her to do in that nation in this trip will be accomplished and more. Blessings to her in Jesus' name!
Remember if you ever have any prayer requests at all that you want to share with the church, just let us know and we'll be happy to put it out for prayer. We stand for one another and embrace community!

Multiplied blessings,

Pastor Jason
